Semis Tied At 1 Apiece

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Orangeville Northmen defeated the Windsor Clippers last night 11-6 to even up the best of five Western Conference semi-final series at one game apiece.

The Clippers took a 4-2 lead into the first intermission, but the Northmen came out like their hair was on fire in the second period, outscoring the Clippers 7-1. The Northmen held the Clippers to just one goal in the third period to secure the victory.

Jarred Riley paced the Clippers attack with four goals. Nathan Hodgins and Trevor Learn each scored once. Zach Grace took the loss in goal for the Clippers giving up 11 goals on 40 shots.

The series moves back to Orangeville for game three on Thursday night. Game four will be played on Saturday night at Forest Glade Arena. Game time is 7:00 pm.
