Northmen End Clippers Season

(ORANGEVILLE, ON) – The Orangeville Northmen ended the Windsor Clippers season in Orangeville last night with an 11-6 victory. The win gave the Northmen the best of five series 3-2.

The Clippers led the series 2-1, but failed twice to put the Northmen away. The two teams were very evenly matched.

Jarred Riley and Trevor Learn each scored twice for the Clippers. Singles were added by Brandon Anger and Logan Holmes.

Zach Greer went the distance in goal for the Clippers and suffered the loss.

The loss ended the Junior careers of nine Clippers. Graduating are goaltenders Zach Greer and Cooper Cecile, captain Jarred Riley, assistant captains Brandon Anger and Nathan Hodgins, as well as Clint Lewis, Trevor Learn, Hunter Bushnell, and Cody Holmes.

The Clippers organization wishes them well in the future.
