WMHA All Stars Take NHL Alumni

By Dean Lapierre

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Minor Hockey Association All Stars will face off against a full line up of former NHL greats. This promises to be a fantastic family event and will include lots of skill and lots of laughs.

Enjoy two hours of action-packed entertainment at the WFCU Arena on Saturday, November 29, at 7:00 pm. The doors will open an hour prior to the puck-drop.

The game is in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association. Diabetes is a serious disease with more than three million Canadians afflicted and more than 6 million with pre-diabetes. Left untreated or improperly managed, diabetes can result in a variety of serious complications including heart disease, blindness, kidney disease, and nerve damage.

Proceeds from this event will go to support the Canadian Diabetes Association’s mission to help lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while they work to find a cure.
