AKO Football On A Roll

(WINDSOR, ON) – The AKO Fratmen have extended their winning streak to three games and improved their record to 3-1 with a win over the GTA Grizzlies by a score of 20-17. The special team player of the week, Dillon Grondin kicked a game-winning 52 yard field goal in the win for the Fratmen.

Up front, Brandon Donkers had 24 carries for 225 yards and two touchdowns. The 6’, 210 lb running back’s longest run on the night was for 40 yards, and was named the offensive player of the game for AKO.

Meanwhile, defensive player honours went to John Moynahan, a 3rd year line-backer out of Holy Names High School. Moynahan had two solo tackles, two assists, and knocked down a pass.

AKO will next face the Hamilton Hurricanes on Saturday at Windsor Stadium. In their previous meeting the Canes defeated Windsor 22-6. Tickets are available at the door.
