London Fined, Windsor Wins

(TORONTO, ON) – The Ontario Football Conference’s Discipline Committee has re-affirmed its initial decision of October 10 that, pursuant to CJFL Rule 5(k), London Beefeater Chuck Wall is ineligible to play in the OFC during the remainder of the 2014 regular season and 2014 playoffs.

The Discipline Committee also also fined the London Beefeater organization the maximum fine allowable under the OFC By-laws for the Beefeaters’ decision to allow Wall to participate in the Saturday October 11 game against the Windsor AKO Fratmen, despite being notified of his ineligibility.

Accordingly, pursuant to the CJFL rules, the London Beefeaters shall forfeit their win and the Windsor AKO Fratmen shall be awarded a 1-0 win over the London Beefeaters for the October 11 game.

Notwithstanding the forfeiture, pursuant to CJFL policy, all game statistics for the October 11 game, including those of Chuck Wall, will remain valid for statistical purposes and record keeping, with the only exception being the official final score of 1-0.
