(BELLE RIVER, ON) – The Lakeshore Jr C Canadiens and Belle River Source for Sports are teaming up to Pink the Rink on Saturday, October 25. The Canadiens will be playing with pink accents, including stick tape and skate laces provided by Source for Sports, and are encouraging their fans to take part in the event by wearing pink to the game, scheduled for 7:05 pm, against the Dresden Jr Kings.

The team will be collecting donations at the game for the Canadian Cancer Society, the largest funder of cancer research nation-wide. Fans who donate will receive a pink ribbon.

“We are playing for more than two points Saturday night,” said a Canadiens spokesperson. “Cancer affects us all and we are happy to do our part to help the fight with this game and by donating to the Breast Cancer Society.”

Tickets are available at the gate; just $3 for children aged 6-12, $5 for students (13-17) and seniors (55+), and $7 for adults (18-54). Children under six get in free.
