(WINDSOR, ON) – Windsor forward Quinnel Brown has been named the National Basketball League of Canada’s Player of the Week. It’s the first time Brown has received the award as a member of the Windsor Express. He also won it this exact week, two years ago, with the Halifax Rainmen.

Brown had a double-double in both games played by the Express this past week, a 23 point/20 rebound game in Windsor’s 131-120 victory over London, on December 5, and a 20 point/10 rebound performance in yesterday’s 100-99 loss in Mississauga.

For the year, Brown leads the Express with a 20.1 points per game average and 9.1 rebounds per game.

The Express are back in action on December 13 in Brampton against the A’s, at 7:00pm.

The next Windsor home game is December 27 when they host the Mississauga Power at 7:00 pm, at the WFCU Centre. For that game, all children 13 years old and younger get in free.
