(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express have released forward Casey Love and placed guard Ryan Anderson on the injured reserve list. The moves allow Windsor to activate forward Kirk Williams Jr and guard/forward Jamarcus Ellis.

Ellis, from Chicago, who spent his junior year at Indiana University in 2007-2008, finished fourth in the Big Ten in rebounds, with 7.0 per game, and eighth in assists, at 3.4 per game. The effort earned him honourable mention in the All-Big Ten list by the media. Ellis was drafted by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League in 2009.

Love played nine games with the Express this season, averaging 4.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in just over 10.3 minutes per game. Anderson has averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in his eight appearances with the Express.

Williams was acquired from the Mississauga Power on December 12, along with the rights to forward George Goode, in exchange for a 1st round pick in the 2015-2016 NBL Draft.

The Express continue their GTA tour with a game tomorrow in Brampton against the A’s at 7:00 pm. The next Windsor home game is December 27 when they host Williams’ former team, the Mississauga Power, at 7:00 pm. For that game, all children 13 years old and younger get in free.
