(LaSALLE, ON) – LaSalle Vipers forward Korey Morgan was named the team’s Joe Schmoe’s December Player of the Month prior to the team’s game against the Leamington Flyers, on January 7.

The veteran scored eight goals and had 10 points, both team highs, in eight games in December, and leads the team in scoring with 22 goals and 37 points on the season.

Morgan scored four goals against the Lambton Shores Predators on December 13, tying a Vipers record for goals in a game.

“Korey has been excellent for us since day one, and we don’t expect anything different from Korey,” Vipers head coach Bill Bowler said. “He’s the kind of player you can trust all the time. His game never dips. There’s never any debate about what kind of performance you’re going to get. He’s the same player each and every night. We’re lucky to have guys like that.”
