Brown Takes Player Of The Week Honours

By Matt Dumouchelle

(WINDSOR, ON) – Another Player of the Week honour has been earned by Windsor guard, Quinnel Brown. For the second time in a month, Brown has been given the title by the National Basketball League of Canada.

The distinction comes after Brown dropped 30 points in last Thursday’s 104-90 win over the Brampton A’s and followed it up with a 24 point/8 rebound performance in the Express’ 124-112 victory against visiting Saint John on Saturday night.

Brown has now won the award three times in his career, twice with the Express this season.

Brown currently leads the team in points per game (20.6), rebounds (8.1), field goal percentage (51.8%), and three point percentage (43.2%).

Windsor returns home, from a 3-game road trip, for Clash at the Colosseum II at Caesars Windsor on January 21, against the Halifax Rainmen, at 7:30 pm.
