Royal Church Named B-Ball Chef de Mission

(WINDSOR, ON) – WE-TV basketball analyst, Royal Church has been appointed Chef de Mission for the Men’s U-15/U-17 National Basketball Championships. The games will take place in Halifax, NS, from August 2 through August 9.

Church received the call from Michele O’Keefe, Executive Director of Canada Basketball. Church will oversee all aspects of the Championships in representing Canada Basketball.

“I am humbled and honoured that Canada Basketball has given me this very important roll with the national program,” Church told We-TV executive producer Dominic Papa.

Church has also been appointed Venue Manager for the upcoming Pan–Am basketball competition, which takes place July 14 to July 24 in Toronto.

Church was surprised to receive the appointment.
