Playoff Hopes Dashed In Loss To Fanshawe

(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair men’s basketball team ended their season with a 73-58 loss to Fanshawe College Sunday afternoon at the SportsPlex.

Fanshawe jumped out to an early lead after the 1st quarter, 19-12, but St Clair battled back in the 2nd to tie the game at 27-27, before entering half-time down just 33-31.

The Saints took the lead briefly in the 3rd quarter before relinquishing control to Fanshawe, who held off the home team the remainder of the game.

St Clair made nine 3-pointers in the contest but were out-rebounded 45-32.


Charles Baskin scored 21 points for St Clair to go along with his 4 assists, off the bench.

Max Reiner scored 11 points and Adam Bering also reached double figures, scoring 10 points and added 6 rebounds for St Clair, in the loss.
