Saints Season Best Ever

(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair Saints men’s volleyball dream season came to a rough end Sunday night in Charlottetown, PE. The Saints ended up losing the Bronze Medal match to the Niagara Knights by a score of 3-0.

The Saints were honoured at the end of the tournament by winning the Team Fairplay Award. This award is presented to the team that displays the most sportsmanship on and off the court throughout the Championship.

The award is chosen by the referees that officiated the entire tournament.

As well, Peter Christian was named a second team tournament all star and Jason Hernandez was named to the first team.

It was an outstanding season for the St Clair men as they won their first ever OCAA medal, by taking Silver at the OCAA Championships, and also made their first ever appearance at the CCAA Nationals, going 2-2 at the championship
