Five Express All-Stars Named

(WINDSOR, ON) – Five players on the Windsor Express roster have been honoured by the National Basketball League of Canada in their 2014-2015 All-League Teams, announced this morning.

Express forward, and 2014-2015 NBL MVP, Quinnel Brown has been named to the 1st Team.

Centre, DeAndre Thomas was selected as part of the 2nd Team and guard Tony Bennett and forward Chris Commons were chosen as members of the 3rd Team.

Windsor was also represented in the NBLC-All Canadian Team, with guard Gary Gibson named to the squad.

The Express and Halifax Rainmen will break a 1-1 series tie when they tip off in Game 3 of the NBL Finals tomorrow at 6:00 pm in Halifax.

Express fans are encouraged to attend the team’s official viewing party at Rock Bottom Bar and Grill, at 3236 Sandwich Street, starting at 6:00 pm.
