Special WMHA Gathering Planned

(WINDSOR, ON) – In 1975 the Windsor Minor Hockey Association juvenile team became the 1st team from the WMHA to win an Ontario Minor Hockey Association title. Forty years later the members of this team, along with the coaches, are getting back together.

Guys are coming from all over Ontario and as far as British Columbia and Florida to make the event.

A banquet is planned for Saturday May 23 at the Royal Canadian Legion branch on Howard Avenue. All players, families, WMHA, Club 240, are invited to attend.

Plans include an informal evening with no planned speeches. Just a gathering to remember how good the team was. Food will be available for $20 per person, and there will be a cash bar.

Most of the coaches and players have been contacted. If you know of others who may be interested in attending and reminiscing, let them know.
