El-Turk Takes Over At St Clair

(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair College Athletic Department has announced Jimmy El-Turk as the new head coach of the varsity women’s volleyball team.

El-Turk was born and raised in Windsor and graduated from Holy Names High School. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor, earning his Bachelor of Human Kinetics with Honours in Leisure and Sport Management. He also went on to earn his Masters of Human Kinetics Leisure and Sport Management from the University of Windsor.

“Jimmy is a very passionate and driven coach who will push our athletes to achieve at the highest level,” said St Clair College Athletic Director Christina Gatto. “We are very pleased to have him on board and at the helm of our women’s volleyball program moving forward.”

El-Turk has a significant amount of coaching experience that will be very beneficial for this position. He most recently spent the past two seasons as the Lead Assistant Coach for the University of Windsor men’s volleyball team. One of his recent career highlights was being named the Lead Assistant Coach for the Team Ontario 16U boys team.

“I can’t wait to get started working immediately at St Clair College with the women’s volleyball team,” El-Turk said. “There are so many amazing things going on at St Clair College and with the Athletic Department, and I am fortunate to be a part of it all. My goal is to make this a Championship program as soon as possible”
