Lions Offer Fans Extra Seating Option

(DETROIT, MI) – Today, the Detroit Lions and MGM Grand Detroit announced a long-term agreement to build a luxurious space at Ford Field. The MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club will be designed to provide an exclusive premium experience for fans this season combining the excitement of Lions football with the luxury and service associated with MGM Grand Detroit.

Adjacent to the Detroit Lions locker room, the MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club will accommodate over 100 fans and MGM Grand Detroit guests during home games and stadium events.

“Our team is excited to enter into this partnership with the Detroit Lions,” said MGM Grand Detroit President and COO Steve Zanella. “MGM Resorts International takes pride in providing first-class entertainment destinations around the world. The MGM Grand Detroit Tunnel Club is truly a collaborative, unique and one-of-a-kind game day experience that further extends our long-standing relationship with the Detroit Lions.”

Additionally, the lower bowl in the west end-zone is being extended to include field level seating for tunnel club season members.

Members and guests will have an up close view of Detroit Lions players leaving and entering the locker room from multiple areas of the club including an area with bleacher-style seating. Other amenities include unlimited food and beverage (cash bar for liquor sales), a corner lounge celebrating Detroit, and early entry to the stadium three hours before kick-off.

“Season members and guests will experience high energy and pronounced interactivity with Lions players throughout game day,” said Tom Lewand, Detroit Lions Team President. “They’ll be right there when the players are coming in and out of the locker room for pregame, halftime and postgame. That type of engagement can’t be replicated anywhere else.”
