(WINDSOR, ON) – With the wind and rain a constant factor, the Windsor Rogues and Stratford Black Swans both forgot what dry socks were as they engaged in Niagara Rugby Union regular season play at AKO Field in Windsor on Saturday. On a decidedly miserable day, the sun was shining for the Rogues as they defeated Stratford 17-12 in very wet conditions.

Windsor took away 4 points for the win while Stratford earned a bonus point for losing by less than 7 points. As a result, Windsor (4-2-0) now has 20 points after six games this season and 2nd place on the Men’s B Division ladder. They trail Norfolk (5-1-0) by 5 points.

The Black Swans (3-3-0), meanwhile, is 3 points back of Windsor in 3rd place as the Rogues get set to travel to Stratford on July 3 for the return match. Windsor returns home to AKO on July 18 as they host the St Catharines Tigers (3-3-0).
