(WINDSOR, ON) – The Lancers fast pitch squad had a 3-1 weekend as they met first with McMaster on Saturday then Brock the next day, at Turtle Club in LaSalle.

After falling behind early to McMaster in game 1, the Lancers rebounded to squeak out a 7-4 win. In game 2, the margin of victory was just a single run, 9-8, as they sent the Marauders home empty-handed.

Sunday morning the women dropped the opener 10-2 before doubling the Badgers 8-4 to earn their third win of the weekend.

The Lancers are now 4-5 in OIWFA play, after a shaky 1-4 start to the season.

Windsor will head to Guelph and Toronto for four games this coming weekend. They next be at home on October 3 and 4 as Queen’s and York, respectively, come to town.
