(WINDSOR, ON) – Kitchener was good to the Saints as both the men’s and women’s came away from the road trip with victories over Conestoga.

The women extended their record to 3-0 by disposing of the Condors 5-2 Saturday. The Saints were led by Kaitlyn Austin with 3 goals and singles from Melanie Daniel and Tiffany Tremblay.

For their part, the men squeaked out a 3-2 victory for their first win of the season.

Conestoga led 2-0 at half time but the Saints replied with 3 goals to pull the win out of the fire. Jordan Lidia connected on a penalty kick before the Windsor Stars’ Luke Husbands drew St Clair even at 2.

The winner was scored off a free kick set play when Lidia tallied his second goal of the game shortly before full time.

The win  evens the men’s record at 1-1-1.

Both Saints sides will travel to Ancaster next Saturday to take on the Redeemer Royals.
