First Place On The Line For AKO

(WINDSOR, ON) – Week 6 of the Ontario Football Conference schedule will feature a battle for first place between the AKO Fratmen (4-0) and the Hamilton Hurricanes (4-1). It will be the first game played at Lajeunesse Field, the new home of the Fratmen Football Club.

Game time is set for 4:00 pm.

The Hurricanes are riding a four-game winning streak after suffering their only loss of the season in week 1, a 35-14 setback to the Fratmen. Hamilton is the highest scoring team in the OFC, accumulating 200 points in just five contests.

Defensively, the Canes have surrendered 91 points; 3rd best in the league.

Offensively, AKO is averaging 30 points a game. On the other side of the ball, the Fratmen are the stingiest team in the OFC, having only allowed 26 points in their four games. The Fratmen have not played since August 29, a game in which they defeated the Ottawa Sooners, on the road, 44-9.

The game will be available for viewing on live-stream at WE-TV.
