Saints X-Country

(SAULT STE MARIE, ON) – The St Clair College Cross Country team competed in their second event of the season Saturday morning at the Sault College Invitational in Sault Ste Marie, at Crimson Ridge Golf Club.  The meet featured nine OCAA schools along with an OUA school. The venue will be the host site of the OCAA Championships October 31st.

The St Clair women proved to be the standard winning team title.

For the second meet this season, 2nd year runner Natalie Omahen ran to a Bronze Medal finish and completed the 5km course in a time of 21:47 for the Saints.

The men’s team were led again by rookie runner Joaquim Lourenco who was 17th in a time of 32:15 in a field of 51 runners over the 8km course.

The St Clair Cross Country team will next be competing at the Seneca College Invitational  on October 17 in King City.
