Throwing Beer At The Blue Jays Game

(TORONTO, ON) – The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest following an incident during Game 5 of the American League Division Series, between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers.

It is alleged that a man threw a can of beer into the crowd. The can missed spectators, but members of the audience brought the incident to the attention of, and identified the suspect to, authorities.

Albert Grummitt, 33, of Caistor Centre, was arrested and charged with Mischief, Interfere with Property.

Grummitt is scheduled to appear in court, at Old City Hall, on November 24, at 11:00 am in courtroom 111.
