The men’s team dropped their OCAA regular season home opener 3-0 to the Bruins by a score of 3-0 on Halloween night. Game scores were 25-20, 25-23, and 25-21.

The Saints were in all three sets right up until the end, but a few key errors and some great play by Sheridan wouldn’t allow St Clair to put any of the sets away.

With the loss the men fell to 0-3 on the season while Sheridan improved to 1-2.

It has been a slow start for the Saints, the defending OCAA Silver Medalists, but it was expected after losing their entire starting seven from last year. This season’s roster currently features 10 rookies and three second year players.

Both Saints teams are next in action when they travel to Hamilton next Saturday to take on the Mohawk Mountaineers.
