A very low scoring game saw both teams struggle out of the gate, with Fanshawe up 7-6 after the opening quarter and the teams limping into the half-time locker room tied at 19.

The play improved in the 2nd half, but neither team could separate until late into the 4th quarter, after being tied at 52. Fanshawe used an 8-2 run to finish the game, deciding the outcome.
