Strong 4th Propels Saints Past Fanshawe

(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair men’s basketball team finished off the first half of their season with an 82-75 comeback win over Fanshawe at the SportsPlex, Wednesday night.

The Saints trailed 32-27 at halftime, but gained traction in the 3rd quarter. They were only down 54-52 heading to the 4th, but fell back by as much as 11 points. St Clair was able to sustain a run to close out the game with timely shooting and pressure defense.

The Saints outscored Fanshawe 37-17 in points off the bench.

Rookie guard Trevon Mollison scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Saints. He was one of four players in double figures.

Point guard Charles Baskin scored 14 points with Patrick Donnelly scoring 12 and adding 6 rebounds and 5 assists, from the forward position.

Lance Drummonds chipped in 11 points for St Clair.

The Saints will participate in the George Brown Invitational Tournament in Toronto on January 2 and 3.
