Horst Leads Saints Past Condors

(KITCHENER, ON) – The St Clair women’s volleyball team travelled to Kitchener on Sunday to take on the Conestoga Condors. The Saints came away with a solid win, defeating the Condors by a score of 3-1.

Game scores for St Clair were 25-17, 26-24, 26-28, and 25-18.

Shalena Horst  led the way with 11 kills, 6 service aces, 1 stuff block, and 9 digs. Taylor Fitzgerald also had a solid game with 7 kills, 4 service aces, and 8 digs.

With the win St Clair improved their season record to 4-4 while Conestoga fell to 1-8. St Clair is currently ranked 9th in the OCAA.

The Saints will wrap up their first half schedule on Wednesday when they travel to London to take on the Fanshawe Falcons. Fanshawe is ranked 6th in the OCAA with a record of 8-2.
