The Lancers undoing was unforced errors while Western held a 10-2 advantage in blocks.

Windsor almost managed to force a 5th set with the teams tied at 22 apiece, but another error returned the ball to the Mustangs who made no mistake in their final possession.

Shannon Dean led the Lancers attack with 12 kills while Jade Ziebarth and Carleigh Bailey contributed 10 each. Lauren Stirling dished 40 assists and helped out on the back end with 12 digs. Emily Durand was solid with 16.

The Lancers return after the break, on January 15, when the Waterloo Warriors visit St Denis at 6:00 pm.
