(ST CATHARINES, ON) – Shooting just 33% from the floor, the Windsor Lancers dropped an 86-79 decision to the Brock Badgers Saturday afternoon at the Bob Davis Gymnasium.

Brock built a 5-point lead in the 1st quarter and expanded that to 19 points by halftime. With their backs to the wall, the Blue and Gold clawed back 7 points by the end of the 3rd, but could manage just 5 more in the final frame.

The year’s standout for the Lancers, Alex Campbell, dropped a game high 26 points in the losing effort. Newcomer Isiah Osborne threw up 23 points while guard Mike Rocca registered 14 as well as 9 boards.

The 4-4 Lancers are now a half game behind Laurier in the OUA West. They will travel to Guelph on Friday to meet the Central Division’s 3rd place Gryphons. The next night Algoma will visit Windsor for a 8:00pm tipoff at St Denis.
