Volleyball Showdown At SportsPlex Tonight

(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair Saints volleyball teams will wrap up their OCAA regular season home schedule tonight at the SportsPlex against the Fanshawe Falcons. The women will take to the floor against the Falcons at 6pm, and the match has huge playoff implications for both teams.

The Saints are currently 9-6 on the season and are in a three way tie for 4th place in the very competitive OCAA West Division. They could finish anywhere from 2nd to 7th at this point with three matches remaining and the top 6 teams making the playoffs.

Fanshawe is 11-5 and is tied for 2nd place.

The Saints defeated the Falcons 3-1 in London on December 2nd. The St Clair women are currently ranked 7th in the OCAA while Fanshawe is ranked 4th.

The men will host the Falcons at 8pm.

The Saints are currently 4-11 on the season and in 8th place while Fanshawe is 14-2 and sitting in 1st place. The Falcons are currently ranked 1st in Ontario and 2nd in Canada.

St Clair fell to Fanshawe 3-0 in London in December.
