Season Closes On Men’s Volleyball

(SUDBURY, ON) – The Saints men’s volleyball team travelled to Sudbury this past weekend to wrap up their OCAA regular season schedule. The men earned two hard-fought wins in the northern town.

On Saturday, the Saints took on Les College Boreal Viperes and St Clair came away with a 3-0 win. Game scores for St Clair were 29-27, 25-17, and 25-12. With the loss, Boreal’s record fell to 2-16.

On Sunday, the Saints faced the Cambrian College Golden Shield and won the match by a 3-1 margin. Game scores for the Saints were 25-17, 25-11, 22-25, and 25-13. With the loss Cambrian ended their season with a record of 0-18.

After the two wins, the Saints ended their regular season with a record of 6-12 and in 7th place in the very tough OCAA West Division. The top 6 teams qualify for the playoffs.
