Horst Named As OCAA 2nd Team All Star

(WINDSOR, ON) – St Clair College women’s volleyball player Shalena Horst was named to the OCAA 2nd Team All Star at the OCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship banquet in North Bay. The Championships are being hosted by Canadore College through to Saturday.

Horst, a native of Dutton, is a second year 6’ 0“ outside hitter on the Saints team. Last season she was named to the OCAA All-Rookie Team.

Shalena led the Saints this past season, averaging 3.3 points per set. She was 7th in the OCAA with 44 service aces.

Horst is currently in her first year of a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The St Clair women ended the season with a record of 10-8 and tied for 4th in the OCAA West Division.
