Windsor Advances To Semi-Finals

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Lancers faced down the Laurier Hawks and edged out a 82-76 victory to advance to the OUA semi-finals. The No. 10 Lancers will now travel to Ottawa to meet the Carleton Ravens on March 5.

Windsor received double digit scoring from five different players. Emily Prevost led the hit parade with 21 points and dished off 5 times.

Second-year guard, the 5’ 7” Carly Steer dropped 17 points for the Blue and Gold, hitting 5-for-9 from beyond the arc.

Caitlyn Longmuir and Kaylee Anagnostopoulos each contributed 5 helpers and putting up 13 and 10 points respectively.

Cheyanne Roger narrowly missed out on a double-double after scoring 15 points and clearing 9 boards. Roger also stood tall on defense with 3 blocks and forcing 1 steal.
