“Perani’s is proud to be a sponsor of the CARHA Hockey World Cup,” said Kevin Ward, President of Perani’s Hockey World. “It’s exciting to see a sport like hockey bring adults from around the world together to compete once every four years. This is the biggest tournament of its kind and Perani’s is glad to welcome the teams to Windsor for a great week of hockey and activities.”

The World Cup, taking place April 3 through 10 in Windsor, features over 130 teams from around the world spread throughout 22 divisions. All games are free to attend and will be hosted at the WFCU Centre, Tecumseh Arena, and LaSalle’s Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex.

This year, former NHLer Andrei Kovalenko will suit up with Grad of Russia. The 12-year veteran of the NHL is now the chairman of the Kontinental Hockey League Players’ Union, but will be taking time out to participate in the 2016 CARHA Hockey World Cup in Windsor.
