(TORONTO, ON) – With just three substitutes to draw from, the Windsor Lancers succumbed to the fresh legs of Ottawa, dropping the OUA Final Four bronze game 90-77 at Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, on Saturday night.

The Lancers played with the Gee-Gees, finishing the 1st quarter tied at 19. The long clock and short bench began to take its tool in the 2nd 10 minutes as Ottawa edged up by 6 points and took a 44-38 lead into the dressing rooms.

Guard Mike Rocca was hot in the 1st half, hitting 4-of-8 from beyond the arc en route to 14 points. Windsor was out-rebounded 22-17, however. The 5-board spread would expand to 10 by game’s end.

The Gee-Gees were able to defend the outside and mitigated the Windsor threat. Despite the reduced opportunities from the fringe, the Lancers trailed by just 8 at the end of 3.

Rocca finished the game with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. OUA Rookie of the Year, Isiah Osborne put up 20 along with 5 boards, while Tyler Persaud hit the double digits with 11 points.

Leading the way, as he has all season, was Alex Campbell. The graduating senior knocked down a game-high 24 points and made 4 steals along with 6 boards.
