Fans Treated To Russian Mastery At CARHA

(WINDSOR, ON) – After a week-long, fun-filled CARHA Hockey World Cup in LaSalle, Tecumseh, and Windsor the organizers offered a feature game Friday night in the main bowl of the WFCU Arena. Former NHLers hit the ice to the delight of fans of all ages.

The game was a head-to-head between long-time rivals Torpedo from Russia and Ukraine’s Arsenal. After the ice chips settled, the Russians had torpedoed Alexei Zhitnik and the Gunners by a score of 5-0.

The win gave Torpedo a perfect 3-0 record over the tournament while the Ukrainians finished 1-1-1.
