Windsor TFC Hosts Aurora On Friday

Shalapata-Header(WINDSOR, ON) – The 3rd place Windsor TFC are looking to extend their 3-1-1 home record when they host Aurora United FC on Friday, 24 June 2016, at the University of Windsor’s Alumni Field.

Stars AuroraWindsor TFC is 3-3-0 in their last six games and 1-1 after recently announcing a partnership with Toronto FC of Major League Soccer. In their last home match, Windsor defeated Toronto Skillz 5-nil in front of over 200 fans.

Mike Pio and Jumbo Iyowuna are currently tied for 3rd place in scoring in the league, with five goals each on the season, while goalkeeper Kyle Vizirakis is sporting three clean sheets so far this year.

Aurora enters the match as the 6th seed in the League 1 Ontario eastern division. United has 4 points from a 1-6-1 record and a -18 goal differential. Windsor FC is +6 after going 4-4-1 for 13 points.

Kick-off is at 7:00pm.
