Season Ending Win For Rogues

Shalapata-Header(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Rogues sent the 2016 season packing with a 17-5 win over the Kent Havoc in Niagara Rugby Union play. The win moved Windsor’s record to 6-2 and 35 total points, good enough for 2nd place in the Men’s B division.

The Rogues played catch-up for most of the match after an early, unconverted try by Kent.

Chris Shaw booted Windsor’s only points of the 1st half, a penalty strike from over 20 yards, and then proceeded to add three more penalties late in the second half, book-ending a try by Scott Kenneth.

The win exacted revenge for an early season loss away to Kent.
