Lancers Double Up Waterloo In Football Exhibition

Shalapata-Header(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Lancers kicked off the football season by hosting the Waterloo Warriors in OUA exhibition play at Alumni Field Saturday afternoon. Though a number of weak spots were identified in the pre-season tilt, Windsor managed to overcome the difficulties to double up Waterloo 38-19.

Head coach Joe D’Amore tested two QBs throughout the day, alternating possessions between Casey Wright and American transfer Jalen Brady. The starting QB position is a two-man race still to be determined as Windsor heads to the season opener in London this coming Sunday.

  1. It looks like a bad year again for Waterloo. Maybe I’ll switch allegiance to the Laurier Hawks.
