Road Win, Tie For Lancers

(KITCHENER, ON) – The Windsor Lancers have moved into a tie for 2nd place in the OUA West Division after extending their unbeaten streak to 4-0-3 over the weekend.

The women played to a 1-1 draw with Laurier on Saturday after Abby Hunt staked the Blue and Gold to a 1-nil lead in the 25th minute. However, the Hawks leveled the score a couple of minutes later to salvage a point at home.

On Sunday, Windsor enjoyed two goals from Becca Feurth and a single from Jazmin Kerr as the Lancers walked away with a 3-nil decision over Waterloo.

Windsor will host matches this weekend against York under the lights starting at 6:00pm on Saturday and then Guelph at 1:00pm on Sunday.
