Ferrari Puts Windsor In The Driver’s Seat

Shalapata-Header(WINDSOR, ON) – Lancer keeper, Kyle Vizirakis, maintained a clean sheet to lead Windsor over the Western Mustangs 1-nil Friday at Alumni Stadium.

Despite being outshot 4-2 in the 1st half, Federico Ferrari registered the only goal of the game when he beat Mustangs keeper Kody Thomson in the 2nd minute. The Lancers turned on the pressure in the second 45 minutes, firing 8 shots at the Western goal, but the score remained unchanged.

Windsor draws even on the season at 4-4-4 and sit on the 6th rung of the OUA West ladder. The Lancers will be back in action after the Thanksgiving break when they host Laurier on Friday at 8:15pm and then close the regular season at home Saturday afternoon during Seniors Day against Waterloo at 3:15pm.
