Lawrence Earns Point For Lancers Soccer

Shalapata-Header(WINDSOR, ON) – Pitted against a determined Western side, the Windsor Lancers earned a 0-0 draw Friday at Alumni Stadium in OUA women’s soccer action. The level result extended the Lancers record to 6-1-5 and the 4th rung on the OUA West ladder.

Keeper Krystin Lawrence kept a clean sheet for the home team despite being outshot 8-3 over the match.

Windsor’s regular season schedule will conclude with a pair of home games next weekend starting with Laurier (4-3-5) on Friday and Waterloo (0-10-2) the following afternoon, when graduating seniors will be honoured during a pre-game ceremony.

The Lancers close the season on the road the following week at division leading York (9-0-3) and 3rd place Guelph (7-2-3), who currently enjoying a 4-game winning streak.
