Hometown Hockey At Festival Plaza

(WINDSOR, ON) – Rogers Hometown Hockey arrives in Windsor this Saturday and Sunday at the Festival Plaza. Bring your family to celebrate hockey in our community.

Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will be n hand for the live pre-game broadcast of the Calgary Flames at the Detroit Red Wings. There will be a free viewing party beginning at 7:00pm on Sunday. Slone will also complete the ceremonial puck drop Friday evening at the Spitfires game against the Erie Otters.

Also get an exclusive experience to see the Stanley Cup brought to you by Scotiabank from noon Saturday 2:30pm in the Community Locker Room. The Memorial Cup is also be on display beside the Windsor Spitfires tent where autograph signing will take place from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

NHL alumni Ed Jovanovski and Kirk Maltby will be on hand at the Rogers Autograph Tent and in the Community Locker Room.

As well, come to Festival Plaza this weekend to register on site for the Rogers Hometown Hockey Trick Shot Contest. Perform your best hockey tricks for a chance to win. The top three finalists will receive a ChillyGear Prize Pack and the winner from Windsor will receive a trip to Hamilton on April 9, 2017, to compete against all regional finalists from the tour.

The Grand Prize winner will be announced in Hamilton and will receive a trip for two to the Memorial Cup in Windsor.
