(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair men’s volleyball team hosted the Sheridan Bruins, Sunday afternoon at the Sportsplex, in a huge match in the OCAA West Division.

St Clair got off to a great starting by taking the first set over the Bruins 25-16. However, it was all Sheridan after that as they took the next three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-22,  and 25-21 to win the match 3-1.

Oswald Marshall  led the way for the Saints with 12 kills, 2 stuff blocks, 2 service aces, and 14 digs.

With the loss, St Clair fell to 7-7 on the season and are in 7th place in the OCAA West Division. The top 6 teams make the playoffs, but St Clair is only 2 wins out of third place with 4 matches remaining.

The Saints are ranked 8th in the OCAA.

The Saints are next in action on February 5 when they travel to Ancaster to take on the Redeemer Royals in a match which has massive playoff implications for both teams.
