No1 Fanshawe Shuts Outs St Clair

(LONDON, ON) – The St Clair Saints men’s volleyball team travelled to London Tuesday night to take on the top ranked Fanshawe Falcons. The men came up against a hot Fanshawe squad and ended up losing the match 3-0.

Set scores for Fanshawe were 25-15, 25-20, and 25-20.

Oswald Marshall led the way for St Clair with 12 kills, 2 stuff blocks, and 4 digs.

With the loss,  the Saints record dropped to 7-9 on the season while Fanshawe improved to 15-1.

The St Clair men are currently ranked 8th In the OCAA and sit in 7th place in the OCAA West Division while Fanshawe is ranked 1st in Ontario and 1st in Canada.

The Saints have two more home matches remaining this weekend and must win both to keep their playoff hopes alive.

They take on the Cambrian Golden Shield on Saturday at the Sportsplex at 4:00pm. The match will be live streamed on WE-TV.
