Windsor Moves To 2-0 On Season

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Rogues kicked off their home season on Saturday with a 36-20 win over the visiting Stratford Black Swans. The win leaves Windsor in a tie for 1st place in the Niagara Rugby Union men’s B Division with 10 points. The Rogues are sharing the top rung of the ladder with the Norfolk Harvesters.

The loss dropped Stratford into 3rd place with 5 points, 4 ahead of the Kent Havoc. London St George and Bruce County round out the division standings.

Windsor’s next match will be June 10 when they travel up Highway 401 to meet London. Kick off is at 1:30pm.

The Rogues will play their next home match on June 17 at AKO Park. They will host Kent at 1:30pm.

The Rogues will also be hosting a high school match between Herman and Holy Names on June 7 at Herman. The inaugural high school rugby program promises to be exciting and action packed. Kick off is at 4:00pm.

  1. C’mon Windsor, let’s support our boys! June 17 is the next home game. Rugby is the worlds’ second largest sport after soccer. Why not go to a game and see what you’re missing. It’s faster and more exciting than football. Plenty of tackles and hard hits.
    Bring the kids to meet the players for autographs.
