Clippers Drop To 2nd Place

(WALLACEBURG, ON) – The Windsor Clippers dropped a huge divisional game last night to the Wallaceburg Red Devils by a score of 14-6 . The loss drops the Clippers into second place in the Far West Division with a record of 9-5-1. Both teams had identical records going into the contest.

Goaltending continues to be the Clippers Achilles Heel after giving up 14 goals on 37 shots. The Clippers offence was also pretty quiet, scoring six times on 49 shots.

The Clippers could not capitalize on a 5-on-3 nor a five minute power play opportunity.

Scoring for the Clippers were Craig Marentette, Chad Marentette, Alex Mayhead, Chase Kavanaugh, Andrew Garant, and Noah Bushnell.

The Clippers next home game is Thursday night against the London Blue Devils. Game time is 8:00pm.
