(DETROIT, MI) – With the opening match of the 2017 International Champions Cup just hours away, the two sides have been preparing for their contest at distant locales.
Paris Saint-Germain traveled from Miami, FL, late yesterday in advance of today’s match against AS Roma at Comerica Park in Detroit. Roma, by contrast has been training at Scicluna Field of Eastern Michigan University, in Ypsilanti, since Sunday evening.
Yesterday, Roma coaches and players took time out from practice to visit Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan Football team at their practice facility in Ann Arbor. Highlights of the visit included a skills challenge between teams, a jersey swap, and meet-and-greet with the coaches.
This evening’s match between Roma and Les Parisiens kicks off at 8:00pm after crews have been hard at work converting Comerica Park from its baseball configuration.
