Bowler Leaves LaSalle Vipers

(LaSALLE, ON) – Former Chatham Maroons head coach and General Manager, Bill Bowler, has left his coaching position with the LaSalle Vipers to join the Windsor Spitfires full time. Bowler was appointed head coach of the Vipers in 2013 and led the team to a Sutherland Cup finals in 2015.

Bowler will be replaced behind the bench by the return of John Nelson, who has been an assistant coach with the Windsor Lancers. Nelson coached the Vipers to a Sutherland Cup championship in 2010 ad was fired in December 2011.

In related news, Justin Solcz has resigned from the head coach position with the Vipers Junior C affiliate Lakeshore Canadiens.
