WinTFC Draws With DCFC, Prepares For OCFC

(HAMTRAMCK, MI) – To keep in match shape during the League 1 Ontario mid-summer hiatus, Windsor TFC arranged for two friendlies to be played in the local area.

The first of the two took place last night in Hamtramck, MI, as Detroit City FC and Windsor TFC battled to a 0-0 draw in front of 4,200 at Keyworth Stadium. The annual derby is now deadlocked at 1-1-1 over the past three years.

This Saturday, Windsor TFC will travel to Royal Oak, MI, for the first ever appearance against Oakland County FC. The match is also OCFC’s inaugural fan appreciation night.

Oakland County FC is a semi-pro club playing in the Premier League of America. They finished this season with a 4-0-6 record, good enough for 5th place in the PLA East Division.

Tickets are available at the door for $5. Kick off at Royal Oak High School on Saturday is scheduled for 7:30pm.
